Sunday Funday Is Working for Women’s Rights! WERK!

Good morning/afternoon/is time real, and should we just give up on “good [time of day]” greetings during coronatide? Sorry, got a little too existential; I have yet to have my coffee.

How are you? I love you? I hope you’re great, however, if you’re feeling like “eh, could be better,” I’ve got so much good news gathered that I hope will change your “meh” to “nice!”

Picture it: Me, sitting on a bed in a fully unpacked house. A sixteen pound purr machine on my lap, a twelve pound sass machine sleeping on her own bed, facing away from us. We are weary, worn, and a little weepy, but we are happy. We know that we are loved. We ask for what we need (me with words, the cats by biting my ankles). We say thank you, often. We make art, we watch sunsets and sunrises, we share what we have with our loved ones, and we are grateful. I’m grateful for y’all. Keep on keeping on, and for the love of glob, take a nap this week, we all deserve at least one nap a week. Because as I began today’s post: Time is fake as fuck. Sleep when you want to. Love you, mean it, bye!!!
