VIDEO! Logo NewNowNext Awards 2009 Preview & Photos!

The sneak-preview trailer for our spectacular video coverage of the second annual Logo NewNowNext Awards red carpet is LIVE! Last year we (A;ex & Riese) attended these awards having imbibed significant amounts of vodka during a private vehicular pre-party and we brought with us two broken microphones, zero photographers and a lot of SPIRIT! This year we upgraded: photoblogger Robin was in tow, only one of our two microphones was non-functional and … our vodka consumption the red carpet itself was actually red! That was a lot of pressure to succeed. Luckily we were positioned at the end of the carpet where a lot of the pressure was dissipated by favorable crosswinds.

This illustrious homosexual ceremony, hosted by A;ex’s Number One Feeling RuPaul, will air on gay-channel Logo on June 13th. We hope to bring you our complete video — chock-full of famous homosexuals & homo-allies including The Big Gay Sketch Show‘s Kate McKinnon & Nicol Paone, comic Erin Foley and girlfriends hot model Jessica Clark & trainer Lacey Stone — way before June 13th.

Logo describes the awards like this: “…a celebration of fresh, freaky and up-and-coming pop culture, celebs and saliva-inducing stuff. Every year we hand out awards to the new, now and next stars of film, TV, music – and your iPhone.”

What’s not to love about saliva? Here’s some more of Robin’s awesome photos — more will drop later this week. (And look at these if you haven’t already!)

I like how Alex is unabashedly looking at her breasts at 0:34 – 0:35 and then commences to nod her approval.

  7. wow that was such a fantastically shot video but more importantly what was that amazing music I heard throughout and where I can I hear more- I don’t know who that is drumming but they should totally be Adam Lambert’s drummer. Make it happen
