VIDEO: Glee Live! 3-D Movie Trailer Will Rock Your Socks Right Off Your Feet!

Following in the footsteps of other inspirational music artists like Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, the Glee cast is releasing its very own three-dimensional concert movie, Glee Live! 3-D,  for a special two-week engagement. Hopefully the film will be screened at a variety of times throughout the day and night as ideally I’d like to attend a midnight showing so as to avoid being the oldest one there, which may or may not be the only reason I never hunted down tickets for Glee LIVE! itself.

Anyhow let’s cut to the chase! Watch the trailer!

Back in May, Ryan Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter about his plans for this cash cow:

This tour was all about going out and performing for our amazing fans who have supported our show from the beginning, but due to the limited time we had to travel during our hiatus, there were only so many cities we could get to before we had to resume work on the television series. We knew that not every fan who wanted to attend a concert would get that opportunity. Now, thanks to our friends at Twentieth Century Fox Film, we’ll be able to bring the concert experience to movie theaters across the country in full three dimensional glory. We promise every passionate ‘Gleek’ a cinematic experience that will have them singing and dancing in the aisles.

Are you gonna go to the movie? Be honest.

    • I gotta be honest, I’m so not upset to see Cory go…he might play the biggest lesbian on the show but Finn is just…slow and fumbling. It’s painful to watch.

  1. I’m gonna see this. I’m gonna see this hard. Theaters should have an adults only showing for it.

      • Ummm yes. I have a Glee shirt my sister gave me that I will wear in a non-ironic fashion. And I should have some solid movie theater seat choreography down by August.

    • Arclight Hollywood still has “21 and over” showing where there’s alcohol. I hope this is one of the movies selected for 21+ screenings cause I don’t want to be sober when Heather Morris is dancing in 3D.

  2. SOOOO EXCITED FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also chris cannot leave the show! i just love him way too much.

  3. This is basically Glee without all the “plot” and general grossness, right? I won’t have watch through my fingers, I can relax and enjoy singing and dancing and fun and the cast being their adorable selves? Legit excited. I AM SO THERE.

  4. I JUST SAW THIS an hour ago when I went to see Harry Potter in 3D! We were still in the “oooooh, 3D” stage and kept reaching up pretending to grab the glitter that jumped out at us. Good times.

  6. This come on at midnight Harry Potter and made my heart explode. This, Bridesmaid, and the new Sherlock Holmes – I never go to the cinema anymore but I am ALL OVER these.

    • My midnight HP theater got the cheering/clapping going early (and often) by flipping out when the Glee 3D trailer came on.

As an aside… HP 7.2 was my favorite of all the films.

  7. YES YES YES YES! By the way, did anybody else’s knees go weak when Heather Morris winked at the camera…?

  8. I am so excited for this movie. Heather Morris pelvic thrusting in 3D? Yes please. I went to the concert (shhhh) on one of the dates they filmed. So I have the added bonus of looking for myself when they show the audience.

Oh and um those proposals Naya mentions in the preview were both from women. At the NJ meet & greet the day before. (No it wasn’t me, she said it in an interview.)

  9. Aggggggrrrrrroooonnnnnnnnnnn
