  1. Special Comment still makes me cry every time, three years later. I don’t even really know why! Keith Olbermann’s face is weird! But it’s like fucking Old Yeller up in here every time! THE EMBER OF LOVE.

    • Husbands is amazing, I just got all caught up with it last night. More people need to watch it! And by more people I mean everyone.

    • I watched these as they came out, I’ve loved Jane Espenson since her Buffy days and would probably marry her if I could.

  2. Does anyone remember the “Civil Unions” video where straight couples kept saying how they, “wanted to unite, civilly” or “civil unionize” eachother? I can’t seem to find it.

  3. Watching all these videos tonight for definitely. Cats and viral videos make the world go round.

  4. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE JULIE GOLDMAN! SHE CRACKS ME UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ILL BUY ANYTHING WITH HER FACE ON IT!

  5. Omigod, all of these videos. I watched them all again so that I could feel warm and fuzzy with indignation and rage that these still haven’t touched the heart of every single American.

  6. The one with the “husbands and husbands” still cracks me up every time. The wonderment of kids is admirable…more grown ups should be this exited about the idea!

  7. LOVE what Diane Savino says!! My own father (long before I came out to family) would pontificate about how he resented the “changing of language” by calling gay marriage “marriage.” But as Diane points out, the definition of marriage has already been so altered that to deny it to certain people/groups in just discriminatory. I know that to accept marriage as male + male or female + female is still hard for many people, but that’s just because it’s new. Nothing stays the same through human history, especially not social constructs. Great videos!

  8. I love all of these videos equally (ha, get it?) especially the ones that make me cry like Dana died all over again. A Gaythering Storm has always been one of my favorites.

“Soon, gay people will start falling out of the sky.”

    Um, yes please?

  9. Maybe it’s because I’ve had a little bit to drink, but tears are spilling down my face because of Zach Wahls which my mom just posted a link to on Facebook. She hasn’t exactly been entirely accepting of me coming out so this is huge and then I saw the link on here which made me cry harder!!

  10. I never cry and the Australian “It’s Time” one made me cry, it was just beautiful. I’d love a longer version charting one couple throughout their whole lives, meeting, dating, marriage, kids, sickness, health, old age and finally death.

  11. Let’s look forward to the day when we are not compelled to show that our families produce perfect children or that we are perfect parents worthy of respect (and rights). It will be a good day when I do not feel the burden of representing all two-mom families whenever I venture out with my girls. Until then, thanks to Zach Wahls for standing up and speaking for his family and all of our families.

  12. The new harlem shake youtube vids are awesome… A business in my industry just made one and then it’s like everyone in the field followed. Gotta get on the band wagon :)

  13. Admiring the hard work you put into your site and detailed
information you present. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a
while that isn’t the same old rehashed material. Fantastic read!
