“To L and Back” Gen Q Podcast Episode 104

Our dreams came true! That’s right! Threesome, babyyyyyy.

Analyssa is gone for the holidays so join Riese and I as we continue our “To L and Back” Gen Q recaps with an episode that has it all! There’s a threesome, Shane’s 40th birthday, a threesome, some insane workplace behavior, a threesome, confirmation of a death we were dreading, and a threesome!

Okay fine there was just one threesome. But you can rewatch it as much as you’d like!

My Notes:

+ I start this episode insisting I’m not sick but turns out I was being a cliché Capricorn with a 102 fever
+ This is 40 is not a great movie. I was being sarcastic. Sorry Judd Apatow.
+ Okay I’m very much a horror movie person, but JESUS CHRIST Riese was not kidding about this Twilight birth scene!!
+ Kettle Black the not-coffee shop they use as a coffee shop
+ If you’re a queer woman or non-binary person and met your partner at Akbar let us know!
+ You can no longer purchase The L Word Book, but you can read this Autostraddle interview from 2010 with Jennifer Beals about it

  1. Ok yeah the threesome, but the best moment in this episode was Drunk Finley putting the kickstand down on her bike and then leaning it the wrong way and being confused and laying it down carefully on the grass.

If Felicity’s husband made such a fuss about it all, how come he’s still with her? And wouldn’t it be better PR for Felicity and Bette to be an actual couple and all like “oh the only reason for the sneaking around is TRUE LOVE CONQUERS ALL and we fucked up her marriage for something REAL AND IMPORTANT” or some such bullshit, instead of “yeah it was a sneaky affair and it’s over and didn’t mean anything”? idk.
