The A+ Bee Issue Nineteen: I Feel You In My Heart and I Don’t Even Know You

Hi sideways hearts!

Happy Wednesday to you and yours and welcome back to the weirdest space on the internet. This issue includes an epic long-spanning interview with Heather’s disinterested cat Quasar, a crossword puzzle that doubles as an eye test, and a Thelma and Louise playlist for riding in cars with girls.

Don’t forget to send us things to the various places we check often. We would love to include your contributions in the Bee!

  1. Of course Heather has a cat named Quasar. And that tells me (because astronomy!) that I need to head to The Planet.

  2. WAIT. Isn’t there an actual ARTICLE on Autostraddle about how to ignore/avoid someone at a party? Feel like it’s relevant to the dear sour question.

  3. I have no idea what idea what “Rear Window Brew” is about/referencing, but 13 is my lucky number, so as with any elevator button, I’d bash it like 30 times.

Also, like yeah, it’s rude of Quasar not make time for one simple interview, but–and maybe it’s just me–but I feel like that can easily be overlooked when there’s cat spooning.

    • cat spooning is honestly the best. I hope everyone in the world gets spooned by a cat at least once in their life.

  4. The crossword combined my two favorite things, queer tv and puzzles! Solved it in <3 minutes.

I feel like the L Word has fewer murderers than PLL or OITNB, so I vote for floor 7.

  5. Well, now I want macarons. And an adorable cat friend. Actually I pretty much always want both macarons and an adorable cat friend, but this article reminded me of the fact.

  6. I just want to say that the choose your own gay-dventure inspired me to use a choose your own adventure theme in a training I delivered and it went swimmingly and people were super impressed. So thank you for that. :)

  7. “those scissoring t-shirts from the gift shop”… very Meta, yes? Very on-brand. I admire how on-brand and meta this site is constantly, thank you.
