Now the constitutionality of DOMA will almost definitely head to the Supreme Court next year.

Obviously anti-gay groups are doing their best to fight marriage equality in New York State, but their best just isn’t good enough.

It’s telling and moving that Obama chose to dedicate a fairly significant chunk of his speech to the LGBT community; it sends the message that we are who he thinks of when remembering how equal we are or are not.
