Saved by the Bell trailer!
I just don’t understand why they’re calling it Scream and not Scream 5! Why are they making this so needlessly confusing – it’s not a remake, it’s a sequel!
Clearly it should have been 5cream.
Imagine working at a cinema and having an old man look into your eyes smiling and saying, “one for five CREAM”
Lol that’s why I want it!
I know this is more boobs on your tube, but may I submit the most recent episode of only murders in the building for your consideration, in which Jane lynch portrays Steve martin’s stunt double who’s better than him at everything ;)
Oh my god her character was SO FUNNY. This show just gets better and better!
Very important news from the Netherlands. The prime minister has said that our crown princess Amalia should be allowed to marry another woman and still be considered part of the royal line of heritage. In case she or one of her sisters wants to. It’s not yet been dealt with in the laws on royal stuff, btw. There’s been some major speculations recently, because the oldest is turning 18 and people have nothing better to do I guess. This has been your gay-ish update from across the Atlantic.
Netherlands is gay-ish, pass it on…
that’s so cool!
Are there any hints she might be queer? I read somewhere that the author of the article that started all this speculation was gay and just was wondering generally how it would work?
No, not as far as I know, but I’m not much of a follower of royals. She was part of her schools GSA and stuff, so she’s on our side it seems. There was a book written about her because of het 18th birthday (by a dude that I think is straight) that touched upon all things about the life of a crown princess and he mentioned this. It became a news item because people were upset about it.
There is another book, with interviews, being written about Amalia, by a gay woman. For het 18th birthday, the same was done for her father and grandmother. I think that some people thought that these two things have something to with each other which doesn’t make sense.
Back when gay marriage was legalised (2001) the then prime minister mentioned that royals could marry a same sex partner and still have their kids be part of the line of succession because royal blood and things. But back in the day the one princess married a catholic and thereby had to let go of her spot. But current king Willem-Alexander was allowed to marry a catholic woman (Máxima).
Anyway things change, and a fair amount of people think that in case they want to, they should be able to marry whomever. And that’s what several political parties said because they want to show how progressive they are. It feels a bit like a tactic to hide that the government is refusing to give more insight in the funds for the royal family (from taxes). And some other sensitive topics. I like the concept of the royal family and a lot of people are really attatched to it, so I get why they still exist. But if it was up to me the funding and influence would go *way* down.
Sorry, this may be a bit to long, but it’s kinda complicated and I suck at being more to the point. If LGBTQ+ royals float your boat, check out Young Royals on Netlfix, it’s excellent!
