“The goddess made dirt so dirt don’t hurt” is being incorporated into my vocabulary immediately. 😂
from your lips to goddess’s ears!
I’m a big flannel shirt!
A Sociopolitical T-Shirt? Yep. No comments.
Dungarees/ overalls! I too will be incorporating “You know that goddess made dirt so dirt can’t hurt. ”. perhaps painted ON dungarees!!
Doc Martens. I feel so called out.
A Knee Length Oversized Athletic Jersey
The way ALL of my jerseys and tshirts were knee length in the 90’s. Especially when I stepped into my tomboy bag. Jordan, Hardaway, Mourning. Hockey, baseball (afro American league and MLB) 🥰
I miss them all
i had so many michigan basketball jerseys but my fave was this enormous brooklyn dodgers jersey from the buckle
I got Doc Martens, which is funny because all through the 90s and up until about 2010, I would have died rather than wear anything lower than a 4-inch heel.
Being such a high femme was so goddamn terrible for my spine, I swear to God.
(no regrets)
that’s so funny because there was a while where i avoided doc martens because they did add a little bit to your height with that sturdy sole and everything and i was already tall enough — my best friend in high school who was gay and 5’8 always wore doc marten (shoes, not the boots, he was not a lesbian) because they gave him a bit of extra height but it was subtle bc nobody thought of docs as height-boosting shoes
Haha girl I’m 5’10”, I just like being up there with the eagles! Gets you out of the armpit range!
