IndieWire was clearly having a hard on with Kathryn Bigelow (Point Break, are you fucking kidding me??!!) because they forgot about Margarethe von Trotta.
Well, at least they mentioned Barbara Hammer (Dyketactics is one of the most powerful things I’ve ever watched)
Ugh, that Vanity Fair photoshoot was so beautiful.
So many women! Of color! Most women front and center in the pictures they do share with men! Those clothes! The sheer glamour.
Two things I found amusing from that Disney Princess article:
1.) The sign Cinderella is has next to her: Time’s Running Out Be The Fairy Godmother They Need.
and
2.) The sign next to Snow White titled: How are you feeling today? with the dwarfs!
I’m a sucker for that kinda stuff! :)
Do you think Prof. Shane has made Nomi watch The L Word yet?
