However, not all encounters demand the same music; in fact, different circumstances require vastly different playlists. Two a.m. booty calls have very different atmospheres and needs (including muffling activity so your roommates can’t hear) than heart wrenching breakup/make up sex. Romantic candlelight evenings shouldn’t have the same soundtrack as when you’re filthy talking about the new strap on.

  3. Honestly, I don’t think I would listen to any of these playlists for their aforementioned “moods”. They’re just a bit too cheesy. If you want something really dirty and kinky, try fucking to Drowning Pool’s Let the Bodies Hit the Floor, or a selection of Nine Inch Nails.

  16. I made a playlist (http://tinypic.com/r/2gtwweg/7) and used it during sex, but I gotta say, music is just not for me during sex. It’s more of a distraction than anything. I’d rather focus on the sexy in front of me than the lyrical thoughts in my head.

    • I think volume control = key. Having background music is nice, but I also want to hear the sexy in front of me. And also that’s why instrumentals and/or foreign music can be the way.

    • After saving the “Could You Believe” music video to my youtube playlist played it on a loop last night and woke up this morning with song in my head. Its a bit intoxicating. Love it and the video really captures the playfulness of foreplay.

  69. I love all of you. I’ve been trying out making a digital radio show called Creative Sexytimes and I’ve been looking for ideas for songs for a while now. This is great.
    It’d be better if the songs were indie and Australian (it’s for a community radio station so we don’t play mainstream/Top 40) but anything goes really :D
