Hello, haunting white eggplants! If you’re anything like me, you spent this weekend dealing with your very intense emotions by going to see Ghostbusters in 3D by yourself. Also, you probably fell deeply in love with Kate McKinnon as Jillian Holtzmann, pansexual beast of my dreams. An image has been floating around the internet for quite some time featuring a very young Kate McKinnon dressed as Special Agent Dana Scully for Halloween, but that image received new life this week wheeeen:

I've long enjoyed the blessing of being surrounded by brilliant people, of having conversations so full of nuance and insight and humor and love, that some would consider them rare gifts, and yet are a regular part of my life.   6. I know it’s not very likely with all the sexism out there, but if Ghostbusters ever get a sequel, I really, really want it to have a new character played by Gillian Anderson. Seriously, if this movie can get better, it’s by adding Gillian Anderson to the mix. And yeah, I would also like to see a romantic storyline between her character and Holtzmann, but that’s nearly impossible. Still, a person can dream.
