Never got to post getting ready for the @townandcountrymag gem awards. I was lucky enough to wear @verdurajewelry – a treat I won’t soon forget. That is ONE strand of Akori pearls, people. I fell in love with the vintage pink topaz, ruby and diamond brooch from the 40s so the peeps at Verdura rigged it with electrical wire to make the look. Sorry, kids. You’re gonna have to buy both if you want to try that at home. (I can promise you my next bday present to myself is the bullseye arrow earrings.) It was a lovely night. I forgot how much I really love gems. When I was 5 I wanted to be a gemologist. I used to carry around a massive coffee table book called GEMS OF THE WORLD and I would read about the Hope Diamond and The Logan Sapphire. Years later, I got to be part of a Life magazine shoot in which we styled @michellepfeifferofficial in all the Smithsonian jewels, including both those rocks… But I digress… At the party, I also got to show off my role as a @museshowroom #haveaheart ambassador (@linguafrancanyc custom made this dope sweater in record time for me to wear it to the event!) #haveaheart is a jewelry initiative in which a bunch of brilliant and talented jewelry designers all made charms of hearts (or things that remind us of hearts) through which designations to charities can be made. In this initial season, Muse worked with 3 ambassadors and causes close to their hearts: @tizzielisch and @citymeals @debwatson and @projectals and me and @jedfoundation – we each chose charms for our charities and they receive a 10% donation whenever they are purchased. Check out @museshowroom for info. Thank you @verdurajewelry for making me feel like a gd fairy princess and @townandcountrymag for having me!

I have never in my life made a vision board but perhaps I should start by plastering my walls with this image?

    • Wow, I really don’t think the information we have shows us that she is an abuser. We know that victims of domestic violence might react with physical violence, and that is wrong, but doesn’t mean that they’re an abuser. I don’t think any of us is in a position to do a primary aggressor screening and I think accusing Amber Heard of lying like that is really irresponsible and scary!

      • I agree with Lavendula. As far as I can tell from a quick Google search, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are both standing by their claims of abuse against the other and investigations are still on going. I don’t think we know enough to label her an abuser and delete from this site.

        • I agree. Life is hard and scary and complicated- and honestly we don’t know hers. What I do know is we definitely shouldn’t be so eager to dismiss her. That’s not okay.

        • Well, we only have evidence (audio) of Amber admitting to abusive behavior. I believed her, when she first came forward— but now both Depp and Amber’s ex-girlfriend are both saying she is abusive.

I, for one, am not inclined to believe her anymore.

  1. I had those exact same rainbow suspenders as Leisha when I was little #parentsmadeusgay

  2. This reminds me I need to get a valentine’s cards & mail it out this week to friends. I curious to know where Bella is that has soo many clocks all set to different times.
