As much as I love Netflix, their recommendation system doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me [a documentary about Crips and Bloods has been on my front page for days. ?.] What To Rent asks you a bunch of weird questions and then gives you pretty much exactly what you’re looking for. There’s even a mood assessment page so you don’t end up crying when all you really wanted was a little vicarious love.

Netflix once told me that because I like High Art and Gia, I might like other dark drug dramas like Traffic. Methinks they missed the point.
Thanks for this.
OH MAN! I totally watched the Crips and Bloods thing and loved it! Also, netflix suggested “Everest: To The Limit” because I enjoyed “Six Feet Under.” THOSE ARE OPPOSITES.
