Does anyone know if there is a local AS group in Minneapolis? Or if there isn’t, anyone interested in forming one? Not sure if there are rules around that at all. I know some organizations are picky (for good reason) about putting their name on something if they don’t know all the happenings in the group. I’m just curious and wanting to meet some kick-ass straddlers. :)
You can make one! The local FB groups are independent of the pride celebrations themselves. They’re just full of ‘straddlers who may/may not be going.

Sigh. We don’t have pride until September. Which I guess is good, without the college students in town it would probably end up just being in my rainbow tie and five people standing around bored and awkward. Pride in my hometown is this Friday and I can’t wait! Because it’s a small town we get a decently known pop singer and a few local DJs but the party starts in the afternoon and lasts for like, 6 hours. There are also silly games like throwing handbags or running in heels. It’s great fun, there’s lots of people, lgbt, straight, kids and grandmas, and everybody is in a great mood. It’s truly a celebration and I really enjoy it, it’s a positive day.
