Lesbian Jesus Is Back! Hayley Kiyoko Is the Gay Bachelor in New Music Video, Starring Becca Tilley

A new single! A new album! A dating show! Becca Tilley! Hayley Kiyoko is taking us on a whirlwind…where do I even begin?! Over the course of the past few week our Lesbian Jesus has been teasing her single “For The Girls” with short clips from her freshly released music video, which gives us “the queer dating show we deserve.”

Every week, she’s unlocked the profile for a new queer contestant on her “show” (just a music video…as far as we know) revealing the classic Bachelor archetypes like the girl ready for marriage, the girl only here for the drama or the girl here for the fun.

This week, she left us hanging with only one contestant profile locked. Fans have been speculating that it could be Becca Tilley from Seasons 19 and 20 of The Bachelor, rumored to be Hayley’s long-time boo.

Well folks, fans were correct in their speculations! Just after Hayley gives her final rose in her “For The Girls” music video — which is full of good gay drama — a limo pulls up to reveal the final contestant is indeed Becca! So is Hayley confirming her relationship with Becca after all these years of keeping her romantic life private?! Maybe! Probably! Ah!

On top of the romance and drama, Hayley dropped the news that her sophomore album, PANORAMA, is making its debut on July 29th. If it’s anything like her new single, we’re in for a sexy, poppy, very gay summer.

“For the Girls” gives us a dancey, flirty, playful bop perfect for playing at your hot girl summer pool party or dancing around in your room while trying on scandelous that make you feel cute. It’s impossible not to feel like the free spirited queer you are when jamming to this tune. What’s even more tempting is what she’s actually singing about:

“Let’s break the tension like a Kit Kat
Yeah, you feel that?”

“Waiting hits on your tongue
Don’t you wish you could come undone?”

If this alone doesn’t send you into a gay panic, she sings this lying on a bed of roses and draped in a seductive sparkly dress while touching herself. The playful video spoofs the longtime dating show and features the contestants that have been gradually revealed in the weeks leading up to its release. You can watch it above if you’re ready. I certainly was not.

You can stream her single, pre-save her album, and pursue all of her beautifully queer contestants on her official website.

  1. I love Hayley’s work, but a while back I saw a TikTok from some disabled fans detailing how ableist she’d been towards them at one of her concerts. I can’t remember the details (nor a link of the TikTok in question to point you towards), but I do remember it was pretty bad and I felt incredibly let down, esp as a disabled person myself. Ever since I can’t feel the same level of enthusiasm for her, and I wanted to mention it here as I’m aware most people probably don’t know about this.
