Description: Hello, all you special winter rainbow snowflakes. Let’s gather to be merry and gay. Sunday, December 18 around 7:00, at a neighborhood bar in Lakeview, F. O’Mahoney’s, at Broadway and Waveland. We will be starting around 7:00pm and going to the wee hours. Mahoney’s has plenty of drinks, a kitchen open til 11:00, and is relatively accessible (not absurdly loud, gender neutral and wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, let us know if there are any other concerns!) Transit is best by the Broadway bus, though the Halsted, Addison, 146/7 and 151 buses are very close also, and the Addison Red Line stop is not too far.
Come when you like, and stay as long as you like. Wear a holiday sweater, if that’s your thing, or take the opportunity to bust out the crushed red velvet blazer. Festivity is encouraged!
