Greetings. This is Brittani’s Video Party, where I bring some of the “best” videos from all over my internet together so we can clap, cry or deconstruct. Have you ever gotten to a video and it already has 33 million views and you wonder where the heck have you been? Well I’m here to help you so that you see it when it only has 32 million views. Aim low, world. Aim low.

How was everyone’s new year’s day? Mine was just another day in a long series of days. It truly is never-ending like that one movie with the sheep dog thing. I somehow ripped myself away from desperately waiting for my turn on the Xbox 360 – aka watching my brother played an entire season of NBA 2K13 in one sitting – to watch some videos on the internet. Like this mash-up trailer of The Hobbit (which I’ve now seen) and The Hunger Games (which I still refuse to see).
In perfect people news, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be hosting the 70th Annual Golden Globes Awards on January 13th on NBC. They’ve already started things off strong with some fancy dressing and accents. There are some red carpet moments from past shows with lots of “I can’t look like I’m fake smiling if I’m actually fake laughing, right?” happening.
Speaking of funny ladies, I found this video on harold style improv fairly entertaining and informative. My favorite part is when Ellie Kemper cracks herself up. My second favorite part is the one guy who kept it real while answering the question, “Who does improv?” I’m not going to tell you what he said so you’ll have to watch to find out. It shouldn’t be that much of a task if you like Paul Scheer and Jason Mantzoukas from the hilarious partially-improvved show The League and Kay Cannon who wrote Pitch Perfect and for 30 Rock.
If you prefer to enjoy your comedy from your computer screen and not out in the real world, you should make sure you have a firm grasp of the internet memes floating around. Good thing some guy sings a clever song about them and also links to the videos they’re originally from or that explain them. Really amazing. Saves a lot of googling. I feel I am at my internet best now.
I’m sorry for starting out this video party with that whole series of days thing. That’s a bit depressing. I hope I can make up for it with this video of a father gentleman getting a dog. His reaction is priceless. It’s how I imagine I look whenever I get a pizza.
If you have a video you think everyone should see, tweet it to @bishilarious for consideration. And of course feel free to post your favorite videos from the week below.
the dad with the dog is too cute.
And now my facebook is overexcited from the meme video, thanks~
I think that meme video almost gave me a seizure.
The dad is perf.

I talk to my pizzas too.
