Hadley is a queer nonbinary femme currently living in Missoula, Montana (but forever bouncing back to their hometowns of Eugene and Portland, Oregon). Since writing this essay, they’ve started work in the Bitterroot National Forest on a wilderness trail crew lead by two badass women and are having the best season of their career. In their free time, they run, make art, adventure in the woods, eat a lot of cheese-flavored chips, pet all the cats, and wear obscene amounts of glitter at queer dance parties.
