Hello there you are! Tag team, back again. Hey are you afraid of the dentist? I AM. Right after this roundup is published, I’ll be on my way to a new dentist and I am terrified as fuck. It’s all I can think about! I hate teeth!

And Finally
Talented Hamsters Recreate Great British Bake Off. OH YOU HEARD ME.
That birth control article made me angrier and angrier when I read it a few days ago.
Also, my ovarian cyst woke me up this morning – er, undiagnosed pain in that area, which I’ve had for months but never had before that, and I don’t like hormonal birth control but I’m worried that’s what they would give me to treat it, so.
Anyway thanks for having a.a.a for me to wake up to!!
The dentist will be shitty but then it will be over and done with. ?
lol oh look i overshared at 5:30 am :-D
The early oversharer gets the sympathy
The cysts in my ovaries salutes the cyst in your ovaries
*hi!*
Thank you this genuinely made me feel better! I’m so fucking sorry about your ovarian cyst (that you should probably go to a midwife about because I hear midwives are The Way to Go re: pelvic exams and other such things). (But no pressure.) (I am also looking for a midwife for this very reason.)
XOXOXO
XOXOXO is the dentist over???
Also I had no idea that this is in the wheelhouse of midwifes, this thrills me, I hate my GP.
Fear of taco trucks? Fear of Mexican Women spawning lots of babies? Latinos for Trump? Can the human race die already? I am just too drained from all this. More pictures of hamsters please.
reading all those headlines and then having the hamsters at the end were so delightful; like riding a rollercoaster straight into a hilarious pit of foam rubber. i laughed.
I really appreciate the article on karaoke – I’ve been taking singing lessons for the last ten months or so, and my eventual goal is to develop a decent enough female singing voice that I can do karaoke without 1) completely embarrassing myself and 2) automatically outing myself as trans (I mean, unless I want to, in which case I’ll pick something in my baritone range). I’m still not there yet, but I’ve been steadily making progress :-)
!!! Keep us updated! I’m fascinated by people who aren’t terrified by karaoke. HOW DO Y’ALL DO IT.
With help from my friend Mary Jane, and Glen Livet. Oh, and knowing my other friends will be singing or already sang on stage.
Mary and Glen are so helpful
I am so excited to spend the weekend watching Ghostbusters and allllll the bonus Holtzmann.
Is the link for the Liz Gilbert interview not working for anyone else?
It’s working for me! Here’s the direct link though: http://msmagazine.com/blog/2016/10/19/qa-bestselling-author-elizabeth-gilbert-feminism-creative-living/
I’ve watched those Holtzmann out takes so many times recently. They’re my go to cheer up.
The Holtzmann tanktop scenes almost killed me
Can Michelle Obama please marry Hillary Clinton so we can continue to have her as FLOTUS?
Plot twist!
BLACKMAR YOU’VE OUTDONE YOURSELF
This is a really really good idea.
Alternately & seriously, I am really hoping Michelle runs for POTUS in 8 years. Barack would be a pretty adorbz first gentleman (or whatever the hell they’re calling it) too.
This is my new dream, thank you.
Kate McKinnon is a national treasure
Look on the bright side, Laneia. Now you don’t need to go to the dentist again until next year
What you people are crazy
I mean I have pretty good teeth, yes
But is it weird that I go to the dentist like once every 3-4 years
Do you all have dental insurance or something
I get cleanings every six months.
That’s expensive! Six months of cleanings are more than camp!
Haha damnit I was hoping this comment didn’t post. I did reverse math. Disregard :D
*UPDATE* The new dentist was very chill and kind and I didn’t even cry! Thank you all for being with me during this trying time.
We are here for you, holding your hand
Oh! And I forgot to mention that they gave me a free travel mug as a new patient gift. So.
Michelle Obama needs to be president already.
I would also like to see her as a Supreme Court justice
That sweater essay was too. real.
The karaoke thing! She literally names my one go-to karaoke song, Like A Virgin. It’s so comforting to have like one song you can sing, know all the lyrics to and actually like singing – a comfort to have if you’re awkward about stuff like this.
Oops, should have read that karaoke article before last night! We ended the night with Don’t Stop Believing, which was on the ‘no’ list. Oh well, we totally killed it with Independent Woman.
