  • This week’s big switch was, again, at the very end of the episode: the song should’ve been “In My Secret Life” by Leonard Cohen.

  1. Okay so I’m on my first watch through of this god damn show and my gf and I were marveling over the terrible music and learning that it’s bad replacement music for streaming changes EVERYTHING. But can someone at least tell me if the weird techno beat with a voice whispering “Shane Shane Shane Carmen Carmen Carmen” whenever they hooked up was original? I have to know

  2. Am really enjoying the humor of these. I somehow even upped the gay by listening to last week’s episode in my car ( I drive a Subaru) and this week’s while walking my dog.

  3. So Abraxas isn’t even the demon of lies and deceit?! What a fool I was to trust the L Word’s gnostic expertise.

Also, why is the L Word missing from the Wikipedia page for Abraxas? Under ‘in popular culture’ they’ve got Charmed and Supernatural, but no Jenny Schecter? This simply will not do.

  4. Be bop bo bo bop – the reenactments of the theme song, give me life.

I look forward to these podcasts each week, so thank you !!

Yeah when I was 15, I don’t think I fully understood the Lara storyline. Watching it again, if I were her, Id definitely be having a Tom Cruise on Oprah’s couch moment instead. ” It doesn’t change how I feel about you” , WTF.

  5. Seriously, if you even know a tiny bit about conception and fertility, this whole storyline is so ridiculous. First the dying sperm, now the ultrasound (100% not what you see at 4 weeks!).
Please never stop talking about this, it makes me so happy that other people see how weird and full of misconceptions their portrayal of the whole baby making ordeal is.
