  1. It me! Between this and your ‘New Friends’ comic, your comics lately are aiming right for my tender, queer-enough heart ❤️

    Thanks, Archie!

  2. This is very timely. I went to an event last Sunday(at Cuties coffee) that was called Queer Enough(there another one in two weeks). It was for those who are newly out or are out and didn’t feel queer enough. Very good event and I felt queer enough there. As always love your work Archie.

  3. I love this! I particularly love how you portrayed our characters grappling with structure vs. agency at the end.

“Maybe all we can do is continue to validate each other in our experiences”

  4. ARCHIE ???

i wanna be friends with all the greasebats and also i wish i could mail this particular comic to my 20 year old self. you’re doing great, babe, i’d say. cause she was!

  5. sometimes I check Autostraddle on a Saturday morning like, “oooh it’s a Grease Bats weekend,” and sometimes the thumbnail panels climb through my window into my bedroom to call me the fuck out, and, sometimes, the comic reads ME

  6. Imposter syndrome for everybody! It’s like an Oprah give-away.

Real talk tho most of my young queer stories are of me being a LITERAL child angsting over my bisexuality making me a fake or straight up traitor and I wish I could time travel give little me this comic ’cause I can’t pack the whole AS experience into the pocket of my wranglers.

  7. This came at exactly the right time for me- thank you! I linked to this comic from my blog. xx
