When I was five I tried to run away from home by walking into the corn field at the edge of our then-backyard; I got halfway across the backyard before I got tired and gave up, because I was five. But! my love for fresh, in-season corn has never died. I love slicing it off the cob into tacos, salads, soups, onto pizzas, and almost anything else. We (well, some of us) still have a little more time to eat fresh local corn; here are some good ways to do it.

These all look AMAZING! I was never a fan of corn on the cob until this summer when all of a sudden I couldn’t get enough of it, especially grilled. Yum! The girlfriend and I just decided to veganize the pizza recipe in #20 and have it for lunch. Thank you! These are all absolutely mouthwatering!
